I am so excited! I have finally talked Phillip into advertising his custom crafted hand turned pens! He has been making them for several years and they are absolutely beautiful. He used to just show them to people he ran across and would post a few pictures on his Facebook page but I managed to talk him into setting up a Facebook page just for his pens.
Phillip has been teaching me the art of making pens for a couple of months now. I really enjoy it. I can actually make a pen from start to finish now! It may take me 5 times as long as it does him but I am getting better every day. It has been fun spending time with him. His hobby used to take him away from me, now it has given us one more thing that we have in common.
He jokes about me being in the way while I am in the garage with him but I know he is only joking. I told him that he has opened the door and now he can’t shut it! He pretends to scowl but he can’t keep the edges of his mouth from smiling that cute little smile of his that melts my heart.
Custom Crafted Hand Turned Pens
Our pens are truly unique. No two are the same. We mix the colors and hand pour each blank. They are all hand turned on a lathe. Then we add the hardware. No pen is duplicated because it would be impossible to recreate one that is identical to the other. We can make one similar but the swirl of the colors will always be different.
We have started taking custom orders also. Just tell us the colors you want and the hardware you like and can create one of your own custom crafted hand turned pens. We have several colors to choose from and the hardware also comes in several finishes. There is also some specialty hardware sets that you can choose from like the Fireman, Hunter, and Bullet. These cost a little more but they are really cool.
Check Out The Facebook Page
If you would like to see some of the custom crafted hand turned pens that we are making we would love for you to come and check out our Facebook page at Custom Crafted Hand Turned Pens. You can also search us on Facebook @ imakepens. Let us know what you think. We are always open to suggestions and would love to have your input.
We are adding new pens almost daily so check back often to see the latest that we have created. If you do see something you like let us know quickly because they go very fast. If you like something that is already sold we can make one for you with the same colors and hardware but it will not be exactly the same.
I feel that we have some of the lowest prices around for the quality of the pens we sell. We also have some of the most unique colors and combinations that I have seen. I know you will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase one for yourself or as a gift.
I wrote a post about making pens when Phillip first started teaching me. You can find it and some other posts you may find interesting in the links below.
