The Tennessee Aquarium ~ Our Quest
You know us and how much we love road trips! Well, our daughter Cindy brought our grandbabies for a visit so we decided to take them to the Tennessee Aquarium. We have been wanting to go and what better time than when you have little ones to share it with. Father’s Day in an Empty Nest
Father’s Day is so different when you have an empty nest. A lot of the time the children are just not able to be home for special days like this. As in our case our children are not close enough to come home. Thank goodness for the internet! Phillip was able to video chat with our daughter earlier today and is video chatting with our son as I write this. When Your Little Birdies Fly
I took some time to look at pictures of my little birdies this morning. When they first left I couldn’t do that without feeling sad. Now I am filled with feelings of accomplishment and pride. I am so amazed that Phillip and I molded these two children into the wonderful young adults that they have become.
